If you are in Phi Phi Islands, of course you need to go to the islands close there. You have so many options, and you can also buy a package including all the islands in one day. Maya Bay (If you watched the movie “The Beach”, with Leonardo Di Caprio, you probably wanna go there, huh?), Monkey Beach, Mosquitto Island, Bamboo Island. Buuut, after thinking a lot, my decision was to choose one of the islands and actually enjoy it. Because these packages are nice if you wanna dive, snorkle and so on, but I don’t know how to swim (I swear! haha), so for me it would not be so fun to stay on a big boat while people were swimming. So we got a taxi boat for 1.800 baths, it was a long tail boat and the driver was such a nice man, he was so friendly and always worried if we were okay during the trip. Here’s a good tip: search between the people that provide this service, until you find somebody that you feel comfortable with, that’s very important, especially if it is your first time, like it was mine. The choice of Bamboo Island was because it’s not a place full of tourists like Maya Bay, so we could enjoy the turquoise crystal clear water, the quiet beach and see big crabs between the rocks. It’s amazing! From Phi Phi it takes 25 minutes to go there if you get a long tail boat, of course if you want a shorter trip you can take a speed boat, but please, promise me you will choose the longtail, it’s an experience that you need to try, I will never forget this day. Besides, it’s a very charming transportation. For this day I chose my lace Kimono from Love.D and some nice sunnies, I hope you like the pictures!

Se você estiver em Phi Phi, a ideia é conhecer as ilhas próximas, que são uma atração à parte. Existem tantas opções e até mesmo pacotes onde você pode ir em todas as ilhas em um único dia. Maya Bay (Quem assistiu “The Beach”, com o Leonardo Di Caprio com certeza sabe de onde estou falando e deve super querer conhecer o local, né?) , Monkey beach, Mosquitto Island, Bamboo Island. Depois de pensar bastante, a minha decisão foi escolher uma ilha que eu fosse realmente aproveitar o momento. O motivo é que esses pacotes que te levam em todas as ilhas incluem vários momentos de mergulho e nado pelos locais, e como eu não sei nadar (juro! haha), a opção não era tão atrativa pra mim. Então, peguei um taxi boat por 1.800 baths, o valor sai mais caro, mas vale super a pena, porque você escolhe seu destino e aproveita do jeito que quiser. O motorista do barco era um senhor maravilhoso, super atencioso e sempre perguntando se estava tudo certo. E por isso, uma dica importante: Se você for à Phi Phi e decidir alugar um long tail boat, pesquise antes e achei alguém com quem você se sinta confortável, especialmente se é a sua primeira vez em alto mar em um barquinho pequeno, como foi meu caso. A escolha de ir à Bamboo Island foi a melhor, um lugar calmo e sem tantos turistas como Maya Bay, então foi possível aproveitar a água azul e cristalina, ver os caranguejos andando entre as pedras e ouvir a calmaria do mar. Foi lindo, gente, sério! De Phi Phi até Bamboo demoram 25 minutos em Long Tail, mas claro que se você quiser uma viagem mais rápida existem também os speed boats. Mas por favor, me prometam que vão tentar o long tail: é uma experiência incrível, inesquecível. Eu nunca esquecerei esse dia. Além disso, é um meio de transporte super charmoso.
