The beautiful and historical Kayakapi

 AD, Travel,

I finally had the opportunity to visit Cappadocia, this amazing place has been on our bucket list for some time, so when I received an invitation from Miss Lolla (Brazilian Fashion Brand) to style and photograph a full collection among the wonderful caves, mountains and colourful balloons above the cyan morning landscape of Cappadocia, I got so happy and excited!

Cappadocia is located centrally in Anatolia, in the heartland of Turkey. Cappadocia has a continental climate, with hot dry summers and cold snowy winters. Although, I am sure it is extremely beautiful during winter, we decided to enjoy the beautiful and warm summer of the region.

During our days in Cappadocia, we chose to make the Kayakapi Premium Caves our temporary home and this was definitely one of the best decision we made. The place is the “first and only” Boutique hotel in Cappadocia licensed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and with its location in Urgup it is one of the biggest and most beautiful projects I’ve seen in my life. The hotel provides perfect service and staff, awesome views and nice cave-suites. The Dinler family made a decision to renovate the historic residential caves with original and modern touches while preserving the traditions and authenticity. This dedication has helped Kayakapi become the only project supported by UNESCO and WHC (World Heritage Center) in Cappadocia and they also have been featured on National Geographic Channel about World Heritage Sites of the World.

As you can see in the pictures and if you follow me on Instagram (@JoicyMuniz), you probably saw my videos and pictures of our big and luxurious cave with a large bedroom, living room, bathroom and this amazing private terrace with the most beautiful view of the nature in Cappadocia. Kayapaki is the perfect place for some relaxing days, in your terrace, in the awesome pool or by experiencing their spa and trying a Turkish bath. The hotel served very nice breakfast with delicious Turkish specialities, and I have to say: I will need to go to for some extra gym sessions after trying so much good food! Haha

On our last night we treated ourselves to a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was the perfect ending to our trip with some delicious Turkish kebab, a perfect view and a couple of glasses of wine.

During the days we had some busy schedules and I have to say that after long days, full of activities, it was completely perfect to relax in the peaceful and beautiful atmosphere of Kayakapi. The staff was so helpful and cars were even provided every time we want to visit Ürgüp city. We had a really early flight when returning to Copenhagen, so when we left the hotel they had even prepared a breakfast pack for us to bring along with a cute farewell present, such nice gestures to make us leave in a great mood!

If you are planning to go to Cappadocia, I highly recommend this place and it is already a big attraction to visit in Cappadocia because of its history and beauty. And I am so sure you are going to enjoy their very spacious and cosy caves just as much as we did. It is an experience we will never forget!
