For our first visit to Mallorca, we stayed in different parts of the island, the first days we were inside the country and close to the mountains, while we ended the trip with a few days in the vibrant area of Palma. Our choice of hotel was the 5-starred Aubamar Hotel & Suites, located in a very nice areas which is only 300 meters from the nearest beach and close to a coastline that offers many other beautiful, secluded beaches. 

The hotel is newly built, so everything feels and looks new and fresh. For us it was perfect for our last days in Mallorca, as it is also located a 5-10 minutes’ drive from the airport, which made our trip back home completely stress free, even with a very early flight back home to Copenhagen. Another practical thing, that we really liked, was the underground parking with lots of spaces and an elevator going straight up to the rooms and suites. We made an excellent choice for some perfect days in the hotel, while quick access to activities in and around Palma city.  

The hotel design is super cool, modern and brings the summer feeling of the destination. We stayed in their Suite Sea View, where we had a very nice and spacious room with a living room, 2 bathrooms, indoor shower and bathtub and a huge terrace and the best sunset views of the island. There was an outdoor jacuzzi, which was perfect for pure relaxation when we arrived were we could enjoy the sunny views from the top floor of the hotel. 

The hotel also has some very nice common pools, where the guests can swim, sunbathe, or simply enjoy a nice drink. In the mornings, we had very nice breakfasts with a great variety of delicious food – I can highly recommend the coconut cakes they have! – while enjoying the super nice 29 degrees and sunny days. 

While staying in Aubamar, we went to so many different places. We visited the Miro Foundation; we enjoyed a nice party night in Palma, and we had a super fun beach day at the Assaona Gastrobeach Palma Club. Assaona is located at passeig Portixol and it is in front of a very nice beach. We enjoyed some drinks and had the most delicious lunch with the amazing view of the blue Mediterranean water.  Assaona is a must-go when in Mallorca, as you can enjoy the beach, nice music and delicious food and drinks in a great atmosphere.
