Trend Alert: CPHFW

If there is one time of the year that I love, it’s when the fashion weeks start taking the picture around the capitals of the world. This is the time where you really can get updated on the newest trends and collections, it’s so much fun! The Scandinavian fashion is fascinating, I must say. Each day my love for the designers here gets stronger and I am intrigued by how they combine simplicity and elegance in a harmonic way, always with lovely details. During Copenhagen Fashion Week I attended different shows and spotted some cool trends that I will share with you guys, let’s have a look!

Red Power

The ultra-femininity, power of the red appeared several times in the catwalk shows from Malene Birger’s strong and sophisticated women to the Fashion Hong Kong Catwalk.

Puff, Puff, Puffer!

The Puffer jackets are simply a must! They continue as a strong trend for next season! The item is one of the most dominating in street style pictures at the moment and I am confident that they will continue as an important part of our closets. Fashionistas have quickly jumped on board and happily adopted the puffer as the perfect jacket to wear in the freezing winter.

Two pieces

If you love the “two pieces” trend, rest assured: it’s not over! The highlights were the oversized styles which, for sure, will be an essential part of the closet of every trendsetter next season.

Let’s make a revolution!

The current political situation in the world makes us think that we have a need for a change. Many designers, as Leyla Piedayesh (Lala Berlin), opened the discussion about the delicate moment we live in into her creations and presented a collection that had a strong voice. With words like “Think”, “Change”, “Revolution”, Lala Berlin definitely cries out for a better world with more respect and beauty.
